Dionne comes from a background of commerce and industry, having worked for 12 years with AkzoNobel as a regional manager specialising in relationship management with both customers and suppliers, before moving into the manufacturing sector for over 2 years. Dionne will be the primary contact for businesses in South East Northumberland and her expertise is available to all businesses in Northumberland.

James has a background in accountancy and finance, having helped launch and grow a national accountancy franchise before working with fund managers Rivers Capital Partners supporting businesses with loan and equity funding. As well as being the team’s funding specialist, James will work with businesses in the North Northumberland area and his expertise is available to all businesses in Northumberland.

Chris will be the first point of contact for businesses in West Northumberland and his expertise is available to all businesses in Northumberland.

Lucy is the ERDF Programme Manager responsible for the successful management and delivery of Business Northumberland. Lucy is an experienced Programme Manager and has previously managed the successful delivery of the iNorthumberland business support programme. The programme supported over 300 businesses and created jobs in the local area. Lucy has been with Arch for 4 years and prior to this managed a range diverse localization projects from receipt to delivery, for a wide range of high profile international and UK-based clients.
Marketing and Events Coordinator

Lois is responsible for the marketing of the Business Northumberland programme, including all social media platforms, and organising all of the workshops and events. Lois has a background in Business Development and previously worked for British Gas, promoting energy efficiency in partnership with nine local authorities across the North East.

Enterprise Made Simple
Phil is one of our expert trainers on the Business Northumberland Programme. As the CEO of his own company, Enterprise Made Simple, he is well placed to help our businesses understand how they can grow. Enterprise Made Simple was set up with the intention of making Enterprise accessible and available to all. Over time, this has developed and they have moved much more toward training. They offer accredited and non accredited training, to those who want to grow and sustain their business. Phil is bringing his knowledge of running a business as well as helping many business grow and succeed to this programme. Phil wrote all our online content for Growing Existing and Entering New markets as well as Assessing your Business Growth and will be your trainer at the associated events and workshops . Phil is passionate about business and you are guaranteed to leave his workshops feeling inspired.
IS Business and Finance
Ian is one of our expert trainers on Business Finance. He also runs his own successful business that works with individuals looking to successfully start new businesses, and with existing businesses looking to improve performance and profitability. Ian is a qualified accountant who brings his invaluable experience of working at senior level in financial, general, and operational management across several business sectors. This includes in corporate, SME, high growth entrepreneurial, manufacturing, and customer service led operations. For the last ten years he has worked with hundreds of businesses across the North East helping them to start-up, to grow, and to find access to the finance they need. Ian has written all of our Finance for Business content and will be your trainer at the associated workshops. His workshops include practical and insightful help for business owners and managers.
Nicola is our expert trainer on all things marketing and social media. Once a teacher, always a teacher. Since leaving the primary school classroom, Nicola has swapped teaching little children to training business owners and professionals, helping them achieve their digital marketing goals. For four years she was director of Daisy Green Magazine and Events, an online ethical magazine and events company and it was here she learned how to hone digital marketing for business benefits. Nicola wrote all of our Marketing and Social Media content and will be your trainer at the associated workshops. Animated when delivering social media training for business people across the North East, she genuinely loves to make a difference to the businesses that she supports and is happiest when she's mentoring small business owners and engaging with the business community she has built through her training.
James is our in house expert and self-confessed nerd when it comes to all things technical. As one of the leading providers of social media training, digital media consultancy and support, he have always been an excited technology supporter and early adopter. James brings his passion and vast knowledge of tools and platforms - along with his training background - to the Business Northumberland programme. James and his team wrote all the content for SEO and Websites and Ecommerce and James will facilitate the corresponding workshops for the programme. James has a proven track record of being agile and responsive to client’s needs, whether focusing on bespoke tools other trainers would be unfamiliar with, or tailoring training with a specific focus to ensure maximum effectiveness of the time spent together, and the learning objectives, you are guaranteed to leave James’ workshops with a new outlook on what technology can do for you.
Pat Beaumont is the director and owner of Beaumont Associates (Northumberland) Ltd. She has over 20 years’ experience at director level of Strategic HR management and Organisation Development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing programmes to modernise and improve performance. Pat brings this experience to the Business Northumberland Programme through our Employment and Skills and Leadership and Management programmes. Through the content that Pat has provided as well as the corresponding workshops, Pat will help you look at you and your business strategically to give you the skills to grow your workforce and avoid any potential legal pitfalls.

The Transmit Consulting team are our High Growth Programme coaches, supporting businesses with growth potential throughout Northumberland. Transmit Consulting is a business growth consultancy headquartered in the North East of England. It helps entrepreneurs, businesses and not-for-profit organisations strengthen, commercialise and innovate. Founded in 2007, it has supported many private business from all sectors with their growth strategy and implementation, plus a number of non-profits such as One North East, Arts Council of England, Learning & Skills Council, Generator and DigitalCity. As part of Transmit Group, it is sister company to national Start Up Loans provider, Transmit Start-Ups, which has delivered £20m of business loans to over 2000 start-ups across the UK.
